Target: To create a job forum assisting those living in Newham to apply for various jobs, ranging from internships to management positions.

 

Introduction:

Our Newham Work is a local job site based in Newham, London, that helps Newham residents to find job opportunities in their local area. Their mission is to promote local employment opportunities and to support the economic growth of the borough. They approached TWDA, to create a fully accessible website that would allow them to update job vacancies easily and enable residents to apply for jobs online.

Challenge:

Our Newham Work set the challenge to TWDA of creating a website that could easily be updated to reflect the ever-changing job vacancies in the area, while also being fully accessible to residents. They needed a website that would allow job seekers to apply for jobs online, and that would be user-friendly and easy to navigate. They also wanted the website to be optimised for search engines to ensure that it reached as many people as possible.

Solution:

TWDA worked closely with Our Newham Work to understand their needs and develop a website that would meet their requirements. They focused heavily on web design to ensure that the website was visually appealing and user-friendly.
