A Junior Developer Joins TWDA

TWDA are delighted to welcome Kiran Paul to the team as a junior developer. Kiran finished her Maths Degree at Keele University and learned her enjoyment for solving challenging problems was going to be fulfilled within the development sector. She will be involved in developing websites, maintenance and developing bespoke software and mobile applications for clients. Here’s a snippet of how she has got on at TWDA:

‘Starting a new job can be daunting, but I felt part of the team from the very beginning as everyone one was so welcoming. I had no prior knowledge of WordPress and some skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & JQuery. So, when I was given my first assignment to make amendments to an existing live website, I had really great support from the development team and I didn’t manage to break anything which is always a plus.

I have expanded my knowledge base immensely being at TWDA, they gave me a project that I was to take charge of. I helped design and fully developed an eCommerce website for a Swimwear brand (Sculpture Swimwear) which I am very proud of and the TWDA team helped me to achieve this. I am thoroughly enjoying myself and I am constantly being challenged, taking part in new projects, learning and developing new skills which motivate me to get out of bed in the morning.
