Business Person and Apprentice of the year – Finalists

TWDA are delighted to have been shortlisted for the upcoming Havering Business Awards under the following categories:

• Business Person of the Year
• Apprentice of the Year

Managing director David Hodder has been named as finalist for the Business Person of the Year category and is delighted to have been shortlisted.

David is the managing director of the multi-award winning digital agency, twda. David has taken twda from a startup 3 man business, based in the director’s bedrooms, to a strong, hardworking and industry leading team of 8, based in offices at the heart of Havering.  David has a proven record in digital marketing and business management, that has been the catalyst for the growth and success twdahas achieved.  Using his impressive knowledge and great initiative he has helped build Twda

from an unknown startup into a leading digital agency in Havering with a reputation for delivering exceptional results for local businesses.

The Havering Business Awards is run by Havering Council, and I think they deserve immense credit for arranging such a special event that recognises businesses across the borough.  I’m honoured to have been shortlisted as a finalist, and am looking forward to a great evening surrounded by our team.’

Junior developer Ryan Barlow has also been shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year category, after already winning awards at the Just IT awards earlier in the year.

Ryan began his career as an apprentice junior developer at re. So far on his journey he has handled many challenging tasks and with the help of the great team at TWDA behind him he has overcome them, along with helping TWDA to win 2 awards at the Just IT awards. Ryan has become an integral part of the team, which is very impressive for someone so young in their already award winning career.  Ryan has worked on key contracts and is looking forward to developing his role at TWDA.

‘I’m delighted to be a finalist at the Havering Business Awards for the Apprentice of the Year category, I’m thankful for the team at TWDA who have helped me achieve this recognition, as last year I wasn’t able to apply, because of a few months!  So to now be a finalist is amazing.

I look forward to the evening, I’m sure it will be a special night whether I win or lose, but hopefully win!’
